QR barcode Reader and upc creation and applications
What is a QR barcode?
A QR code (abbreviated from Quick Response code) is a specific matrix barcode (or two-dimensional code) that is readable by dedicated QR readers, smartphones, and, to a less common extent, computers with webcams. The code consists of black modules arranged in a square pattern on a white background. The information encoded may be text, URL, or other data.

QR bar codes are 2D barcodes that connect people with your business information, entertainment, and interactive experiences in the digital world. People live with their phones, using them during dinner and even before they get out of bed. QR codes help you capture them in the moment, engaging them anytime, anywhere through mobile marketing. You can bring printed materials to life, help customers make buying decisions while standing in the store, and engage them more deeply with your brand.

It's easy – just place QR Codes on your packaging, print ads, or marketing materials. When folks scan a Tag on their smartphones using the free applications found online, it can take them to your mobile site, show a video, download an app, add contact details to their address book, or dial a phone number. You don't have to worry about people correctly typing in your URL or finding you online – Tag instantly puts the relevant info at their fingertips.

This unique bar code (known as a QR code) lets customers - and potential customers - instantly learn more about a business, by visiting a mobile version of the business online from a web site.

Here's more on how it works and what you can do with it:

Make sure your phone can scan a QR code with its camera, either with an application that you download or via software that's already installed on your phone. To find out what application to use for your phone, we recommend doing a Google search for the model of your phone along with "QR reader".

When you see a printed QR code, use your phone's application to scan it.
